Sorry for the slight necro, just want a quick clarification before giving out incorrect information.

If someone used the free trial last year then they have up until the end of June to pay for the 90 days(due to not having to wait a month for the free trial)? He would like to do it but the information on this is sparse and I would like clarification.

Also, if someone were to pay all 90 days up front would they get in even after june as long as all 3 months are paid ahead of time? I got my email and account updated within a few days of paying for all 3 months. Just curious on this second question.

if he start anytime now he can get it if he start let's say july 2-31 then he wont get it.

SE said you would need to pay for 90 days from release to beta of 2.0 may 31 is the cut off because beta starts in 4 months,

There isn't a firm date for 2.0 testing yet. Be careful what you say. Yes, I know a loose timeline was given to us, but we don't have precise dates.

Question 1) Since you have used up all your free days, I'd say your limit is June 30th instead of May 31st.

Question 2) No. They are going with actual time, not money time. Which means, you can pay for 90 days but legacy won't kick in until the paid 90 days are over... and if it's after the limit/beta/whatever, no legacy.

This is very simple folks, you will only qualify for legacy if you have a PAID subscription to the game by May 31st. If you haven't PAID for even one month of the game by 2 days ago, you WILL NOT qualify for legacy. Plain, simple, easy.

You will not get legacy when you SIGN UP for 90 days of paid service, you will get legacy on the day when the third month is/would be charged.

The character screen have updated to show that I have got the legacy membership by showing a logo on the top left side.

So I would say it is based on "money time" after all?

Don't Know if this was brought up but...I've had an account since launch. I have not paid at all for this game bc I stopped playing due to school. I started again about a month ago, same account but used a buddy pass to check the game out. On 6/1 I was due for my first payment. On that day I also got legacy status. I have not paid for 90 days prior to that.

However, now that I think about it, I think there was a 30 day and 90 day pay option. i chose 90 days, so maybe that's why I got legacy right away. Not exactly sure though. I thought I had to pay 90 days first then I'd get it, but I got it right away.

If paying 90 days on the spot give you legacy membership regardless of what time is left ahead before beta/release of 2.0, everyone can still get it until a few days before as long as they choose 90days payment.

That's why I asked the second question because I got my membership after just a short period of time without having paid at all before. Thanks everybody.

Yep, I did have 1 month paid before that, and I tried the 90 day subscription May 27th.

I was thinking about the same thing that if it is like this, than anyone can get legacy membership at the last minute.

Although it might be that there is limit on a set day that you can do this. Meaning that if you haven´t gotten the requirements to get a legacy membership by that date, then even paying for 90 days won´t grant you the membership.

So lets say that someone registered their game just in time to qualify for the legacy membership, but doesn´t pay for a month. If he continues paying monthly he would be disqualified, and even if he pays for 90 days the following month he will still get disqualified from getting the membership.
