SE said you would need to pay for 90 days from release to beta of 2.0 may 31 is the cut off because beta starts in 4 months, thus giving you 90 days + free month if you started on may 31

Sorry for the slight necro, just want a quick clarification before giving out incorrect information.
If someone used the free trial last year then they have up until the end of June to pay for the 90 days(due to not having to wait a month for the free trial)? He would like to do it but the information on this is sparse and I would like clarification.
Also, if someone were to pay all 90 days up front would they get in even after june as long as all 3 months are paid ahead of time? I got my email and account updated within a few days of paying for all 3 months. Just curious on this second question.![]()

Question 1) Since you have used up all your free days, I'd say your limit is June 30th instead of May 31st.Sorry for the slight necro, just want a quick clarification before giving out incorrect information.

Question 2) No. They are going with actual time, not money time. Which means, you can pay for 90 days but legacy won't kick in until the paid 90 days are over... and if it's after the limit/beta/whatever, no legacy.

Well I payed for 90 days 1 week ago, and after couple of hours I got an email saying I got the legacy membership.
The character screen have updated to show that I have got the legacy membership by showing a logo on the top left side.
So I would say it is based on "money time" after all?

Really? And you've never payed before?Well I payed for 90 days 1 week ago, and after couple of hours I got an email saying I got the legacy membership.

Also, a week ago was before May 31st, might be related too.
If paying 90 days on the spot give you legacy membership regardless of what time is left ahead before beta/release of 2.0, everyone can still get it until a few days before as long as they choose 90days payment.

There isn't a firm date for 2.0 testing yet. Be careful what you say. Yes, I know a loose timeline was given to us, but we don't have precise dates.SE said you would need to pay for 90 days from release to beta of 2.0 may 31 is the cut off because beta starts in 4 months,

This is very simple folks, you will only qualify for legacy if you have a PAID subscription to the game by May 31st. If you haven't PAID for even one month of the game by 2 days ago, you WILL NOT qualify for legacy. Plain, simple, easy.
You will not get legacy when you SIGN UP for 90 days of paid service, you will get legacy on the day when the third month is/would be charged.
This is wrong. You need to have bought the game / created an account before that date. You don't necessarily have to have paid SE a single dime yet, you just have to do that before 2.0 goes live. This is very simple folks, you will only qualify for legacy if you have a PAID subscription to the game by May 31st.
No official statement is needed. It's not confusing.I'd like some official statement on exactly how this works, since their initial statement is confusing.
May 31st: Must have had account created.
Date 2.0 goes live: Must have paid for (not necessarily used) 90 days of game time.
When these conditions have been met you will be automatically notified and an icon will appear on the character select screen as well as in your square enix account.
Soon after my third month was billed, I got the notification. I imagine if you buy 90 days of time at once (via the 3 month billing option) that you will be qualified.
This is correct, and there should soon be people who can verify this (since there was a delay between when i paid and when I was notified)I take that as you can still subscribe in june and get the offer if you've registered your copy before 31 may

Here's an official response: (source)
A new player has, naturaly, not paid anything yet and thus has 30 days of free play. That means only after 30 days will he receive a bill that he can pay. So in order to achieve Legacy status, he has to have his game registered by the 31st of may.
