Legaciy Campain Question

They really need to sticky this lol, but ya as it's mentioned their's basically two requirement to Legacy now:
Requirement 1: Must have game registered by May 31st(aka 12mins to go if you are in EST time zone lol)
Requirement 2:Must have paid for at least 90 days of game time before 2.0 hits.

Seeing how this game runs on a PST time zone it would be 3am PST when you no longer can get legacy.

it's really not hard to understand everyone who start a account right now are pretty much wont get legacy not if they change it but i hope not because can't give everyone legacy just because there late to the party lol

Hello, I hope you don't mind me high jacking your thread but I had a question about the legacy system that I wanted to ask and rather than start a new thread I thought it best to post it in an existing one.

Am I right in thinking that if I qualify for the legacy campaign, which I believe I do as I have had the email and also it says so in my account info that I will be charged (in my case) £6.99 and for that price I will be able to create up to 8 character on a server (up to a max of 40) without any other charges being made. If this is the case if I create a new character now would I be charged extra for it until the legacy system kicks at the 2.0 launch?

Sorry for such a basic question but I am just a little confused about this at the moment.

You have between now and when 2.0 comes out to buy 90 days of game time, regardless of when you created your account before the 31st.

If you make new character now yes you have to pay the extra,you are a legacy now but the new payment plans are not ready to 2.0 is release.

Ah ok that makes sense I guess. I want to create a new character on a server that has recently be reopened to allow them and just wanted to check how things work before I went ahead. At least it will be charged at the discount price in the meantime so that's not so bad.

wish we had a gm to put our minds at ease on all this the wording on all the campaign stuff is straightforward but also kinda vague.

(i don't make alot and the thought of a 10$ month game is great verses 15$ monthly)
also a chocobo doesn't hurt!

SE said you would need to pay for 90 days from release to beta of 2.0 may 31 is the cut off because beta starts in 4 months, thus giving you 90 days + free month if you started on may 31
