let's see what 2.0 will bring i say.
currently the lvling is just fine, as content doesn't really focus on the lower levels.
maybe content will spread over a wider level range when 2.0 launches, and players will have more options to build up their characters besides simple mob grinding.

i think it's just more interesting being able to level up your character in various zones/dungeons/raids together with other players, while also having a challenge, and the chance to get rare loot to make lvling up your character even more worth it.
currently we don't have that, so there is no real reason to make lvling take any longer than it allready does, just get over with it and spam that Cutter's Cry for weeks to find out that drop rates suck hard lol.
