Yeah a good rule of thumb is simply don't follow links people whisper or post in-game.

At least this ones a bit more clever than the 300m gil one. I'm morbidly curious and I really want to click it because logically as long as I don't log in, it shouldn't have my info but... if it's some sort of weird qr code that does it instantly I can't :c

I'm not exactly sure if it's clever or if you still need to be a bit daft to fall for it.

If a random tells me "Hey, SE is changing mounts", my reaction won't be to click on it. It'll be "ok, and who asked?". Not to mention how awkward the non-sequitur is. Just having a guy say "Oi, this" unprompted.

Just don't click anything, and if it's your personal friends sharing that link, still don't click it. Google it yourself. Don't take the risk.
