Oh really? Heh, mine is still going strong after all this time. Guess I don't button mash as much as I should XD. Oh and I just can't stand the d-pad on xbox controller. Its terrible and I use my d-pad for targeting so I really like ps3 version controllers.
I just wanted to suggest that, if you have any WD-40 lying around, lightly squirt some on to the button face of the controller. Make sure that it get's into the crevices of each button that "sticks." Then dry the controller off, or better yet leave the controller out so it dries and any of the scent from the WD-40 dissipates (it's probably not a good idea to inhale the fumes too much but if your desperate to play feel free too, just don't hold me responsible). There is a good chance that this will solve the problem.
It isnt that the buttons at sticking to the controler face its that tha rubber pads under it are braking from smashing 1 button most of my playing. WD-40 woudl work prob if i spileld a drink on it and the button is stickign to the controler face. But thanks for the lil tip.
Hey everyone!
We will be adjusting portions of the config that require you to reload the game client so that the changes are reflected. This will make it possible to set external configurations in-game or while the game is running.
This system is currently being restructured for 2.0 and we are not at the point where we can give out specific details as to what config settings will be possible to change while in-game. In addition, this will not be implemented until 2.0's launch. Once we receive an update, we will be sure to let you know!

I use to have my ps3 controller using motionjoy on my pc for XIV. Kept having problems so I bought the snakebyte controller (2 actually). I love it!! I didn't like the design when I looked at it at first but in actuality it's pretty lightweight and I'm not overusing my other controllers. The cord is about 9 ft long anyway and can be used on the ps3. Just throwing my 2 cents in there on this controller... :Phttp://www.amazon.com/Snakebyte-Fina...8476025&sr=8-1
Unless you hate cords this is cheap and works perfectly. Used to be $10 when the game really stunk =P
$5 dollar USB > ps2 controller $30 you can't go wrong.I use to have my ps3 controller using motionjoy on my pc for XIV. Kept having problems so I bought the snakebyte controller (2 actually). Corded controllers are so PS2. $12 Xbox Reciever for PC and the same wireless xbox 360 controller you use for your console and you can't go wrong. Plug and play wireless really is a joy =D
Except that the game will be losing connection to it once it decides to save power and you will have to relog.. I prefer a good old cable for now, maybe 2.0 will make it better.
