Getting an Error at launcher bootup

I am getting the same issue and I did what @Dynratygus said, uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't do anything.

Please review the status account under the mogstation.
It seems that the free days gifted by the servers issue on the endwalker launch was not applied on the mogstation.

For any one still experiencing the issue, could you try the following:

. Delete or rename the "etc" folder that exists within the game's installation folder. Please also check the game folder in "My Games" as well.

Below are the default locations for the installation folder:

- Standard Windows version -
C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

- Steam version -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

Is there a way to transfer an account off of Steam. I'd even be willing to buy a new license ... not sure why I bought it that way to start, but it has zero upside and lots of problems.

Well, me and my sis supposed to have raid night right now. But we even can't login and can only wait. Amazing.

Just keep trying to open the launcher or wait a few hours. I eventually got in after 20 mins of trying. Even Steam's store is failing to load some pages here and there.

It's BS that we can't ever swap our account data from a steam integrated account, to a normal one. I'd pay for every xpac again just to do that.
