1. Engage New Game Plus - for example ARR Part 2
2. Observe that you will get NO REWARDS
3. This is a problem because, for example, you will need to travel to and fro from Vesper Bay, and for some reason, you completed all these quests and either have no more VB Aetherite Tickets, or never had any because you completed these quests long before these were a thing.
4. So, why do we get no rewards? I can understand that we should get NO XP. We are far above the level for these quests - I'm a 52 atm and these quests [part 2] start at 15. Ok NO XP. Fine.
BUT what are we worried about for all the other rewards? Farming? Folks doing these over and over again to get Low level gear or Minute amounts of Gil? Well I can FARM the open world in any number of ways to do this. Dungeons in Restricted mode still gives me gear drops from Chests. Better gear than these quest rewards of course. PoD and HoH and farming and killing mobs in the open world and gathering etc etc etc. That's what an MMO is - Farming Opportunities. That is MMO gameplay. So why is this one feature of the game bereft of rewards? So I cannot get my Vesper Bary Aetherite Tickets to complete these quests? Or the low level gear to say - Oh let's say Equip my Retainers?

5. Notice that I can FARM the Mentor Quests over and over to equip all my retainers with Brand New Rings and Brand New Gear to level retainers more quickly to level 30. Those are repeatable and as long as I juggle the ring and equipment to the retainers before doing it again, I can equip any number of retainers with Brand New Rings and Brand New gear.

So What's the reason behind restricting Farming of items, or gil for that matter, in the New Game Plus mode quests? And if there is some objection to this farming, then how is this different from just watching the cut scenes in the Inn Room? Oh, and by the way, When I kill mobs while doing New Game Plus quests, do I get drops? Well these are rewards that are, in many respects, no different from the quest rewards. I assume that mobs drop stuff and dungeon chests drop stuff while you are doing New Game Plus.

So why not just give me the quest rewards - Like Vesper Bay Aetherite Tickets - and gear etc etc when doing New Game Plus? I can't really see a reason for making New Game Plus quests reward NOTHING.

Gee I wonder how new game plus quests work if you are in a party? I would test that, but since there's no reason to do New Game Plus, I am not going to spend the time to test that.
