It scratches the "Stardew Valley/Story of Seasons" part of my brain.
I sold mine because I take frequent breaks from the game and I don't want to continue paying a sub for a game I'm not playing.
But there's fun to be had in decorating a house with the furniture you crafted with yourself.
It's relaxing in a way.
I love housing because I am an OMNI crafter/gatherer and I love making things. I love making gear and now that the lottery has created many home owners I see fantastic home decorations. These picturesque exteriors with their expertly done interiors great each visitor like valued customers. Either a cafe' , garden, or bathhouse style all these houses look wonderful.![]()
sagacious
Worshop, Gardening, better FC buffs, furnishings.
...making me waste hours upon hours of my life struggling against the horrid mess that is the grid system @w@
But boy almighty, if you have a house I will ENDEAVOUR to make it look impeccable.
...okay, add to the list "giving housing nerds a dumb addiction". Also, does anyone want me to decorate their house? I'm growing desperate. I need my fix.
how does it work exactly?
Do you bring your own furnishing?
or the home owner asks for a theme then you provide a list of furnishings you need?
Or do you just work with what the owner has?
I ask for a theme, otherwise I go out in search of inspiration myself.
From experience decorating friends' houses, I start with what they got, and if it's rubbish or not enough, I just get everything myself. If you want something done right, don't cheapen out, do it yourself.
