A better way to put it would be an effort to break up how consistently we are spending our GCDs on our filler nuke. AST has considerably more do to than the other healers, especially during it’s opener and burst windows, but it’s still slamming that same 1 button throughout the whole process.
ARR forced us to spend far more GCDs healing, HW introduced more oGCDs but gave us enough busy work between offset dots and harder hitting fights that the issue wasn’t really prevalent like it is now.
Personally I don’t care how SE achieve it at this point. I’m just sick of pressing the same GCD routinely 9+ times in a row with some insane tally at the end of the duty. 6.1 WHM is a step in the right direction, they just need to keep it up.
