In the good old days you could take companies that behave badly to civil court, sadly these days we all sign an agreement that companies don't have to provide any service at all whatsoever. Imagine if anyone actually took the time and expense to ask a lawyer to review the terms and conditions we agree to every day without even reading them....no one would ever sign up for anything. System would collapse.

Same here. Steam servers are unresponsive because of summer sales, I guess SE didn't expect that.

Times like this I wish they'd let us unlink from steam. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Steam always messes with me playing online games. >_>

Do we even know if Square Enix has acknowledged this problem? They are usually fast to post on lodestone when the problem is on their end, do they even know or are they being silent because the root cause is not their responsibility?

I was able to sneak on, watch https://steamstat.us/ it keeps flopping between offline and unavailable, when it is " unavailable "
try maniacally to login in by clicking the cog and going back when it gives the errror till you can get login prompt like normal.

SOLVED for me!

I checked my account status on the mogstation and I saw that the time period to play was expired.
After re-sub for 90 days and wait 30 minutes, I'm be able to login again, saying that i have 120 days to play.

So it seems that the free 30 days gifted are not working for Steam players, or at leas are not refected on the mogstation, and the check by steam is KO.

is better wait for steam to fix they servers than SE do something, last time i and a lot of people have a issue in the game because something on SE end, i have to wait for 1 month for SE to adress the issue and plus one month to have the issue fixed
