No more fake out deaths from the Scions and actual consequences to their actions when heavily injured/on death's door.
People rip on Y'shtola back in ShB because of the Flow spell and her being immediately rescued by Emet-Selch. Though, I would say you should be mad at the writers of the psrt in the story for USING Y'shtola just so they could show Emet-Selch was telling the truth when he said he wanted to help the Scions and WoL.
Y'shtola back in SB when she was almost killed by Zenos and Thancred almost killing himself during his final confrontation with Ran'jit. Both of these moments should have had a lasting permanent effect on each character's well being. At the very least, I would have like to see a visible scar across Y'shtola's chest with the top half of the healed injury poking out from her current outfit and her every once in awhile pointing out how she still feels pain from it every once in awhile.
And with Thancred, my guy, I kind of feel, should have been on his last leg in Endwalker. Back in ShB, he pushed his already aetherically crippled self well beyond his limits during his fight with Ran'jit. I think he should have been shown both in ShB and in Endwalker to slowly become more and more unusually tired out as the story progressed and ending with hin retiring from adventuring with the Scions for good and instead living out the rest of his days in Mor Dhona, Sharlyan or Ul'dah.
In Endwalker, I think the way the writers handled the Scions at the end with that fake out death was better done because of the fact the Scions had explained they could be brought back with Azem's summoning magick. Though I think they also could have been brought back with dynamis, too, considering they were in Ultima Thule where dynamis' influence was at its strongest. So at the least, again, them not dying here makes sense.
I just want to see the Scions actually have risk to their lives again, like how they did up to SB. Its no fun knowing in the back of your mind they will most likely always be okay. Again, there needs to be actual consequences to their actions when making impulsive, life threatening decisions.
Also, the writers REALLY need to start explaining just exaclty how Y'shtola's eyes work already. We know she sees things in the form of aether, but I'd like a detailed explanation on how exaclty she percieves things and if using her own aether to see actually puts any risk to her life. Because as far as I can tell, she more than likely has mastered aether manipulation so much to the point where she uses very little aether in order to see. But also, for some reason, can't see the stars in the sky at night, despite them giving faint aetherical signatures; something Astrologians can pull from to use for their magicks.

Quite game changing but still affect the QoL. Scrapping Classes completely, and letting players start the game with any job
Someone mentioned here before that the only healer you can start as is CNJ/WHM, to unlock SCH you have to play up to lvl 30 with a DPS, and to unlock AST you have to beat ARR + its patches to unlock AST. Giving more options to starters, like a bigger variety on jobs, is a good way to attract new players
The only QoL thing that I really want, more than anything, is an unlimited glamour system. Moment you earn a piece of gear it should unlock the appearance. No more having to manage limited space, just pure ease of fashion. I know they'd have to redo code for this but honestly it'd make so many people happy that it'd be worth it.
Professionally written netcode. This game lags and drops casts harder than Western MMOs from ten years ago.
Being able to apply glam plates in PvP before it starts.
Individualistic creativity put into PvE jobs like the devs put in PvP recently. Every single job in PvP plays differently, are fun, and have a sense of identity in PvP, where as PvE is stsrting to look more and more cookie cutter and ridgeley role conforming every expansion.
Allow glamor to be used regardless of the level of the gear you wear: if you can equip both the glamor and your current gear, you should be able to glam without level restrictions. I want the ability to use my level 90 glamors in Eureka and Bozja.

Move the timed node required materials for MIN & BTN job quests to special nodes that respawn every RL 10 min. Having to sit around for 30 minutes to finish a quest just because you missed the window is not instructive, fun, or engaging. (At least you can buy pummelite from the MB)
With all the crying the devs do about how hard implementing desperately needed glamour related QoL I shudder to think what the underlying code looks like. If it's that much of a mess it needs to be ripped out and rewritten. The only QoL thing that I really want, more than anything, is an unlimited glamour system.
