When is PLD Getting Fixed So It Can Be a VIABLE Tank?

You can face tank coincutter on PLD easy now and take very little damage if you time your abilities right.
i do not even move on coincutter and eat all his swings with minimal dmg!.

Interesting, I actually haven't tried PLD on coincutter. I always play WAR for it and relay on 4700+ HP to get me though swings if Foresight, Featherfoot, Sent are all down since I face tank him. I figured with PLDs low HP there would be a good chance of oneshot if your ability's were all down if you were to face tank him.

You can avoid everything alternatively, but guard proc often now for PLDs to stay alive for facetanking.

No, no, I agree, WAR dose awsome damage (when they are not tanking and can actually proc combos.... Hmm guess you could add vit, def , hp gear , but other then vit nothing defense orented helps WAR do dammage. Of course you could ballance WAR's def and dd stats in an attempt to make it work as a sub par dd / half decent tank, but why do that when you can go with an all out tank and replace that second healer, your war will absolutely need, with an all out DD... but what am I saying, that dosent make sense dose it...

lol, bet your healers have a fun time replacing that massive HP bar of yours every time it gets nearly depleted, makes me LOL everytime I see some poor sap with triple stacked hp teir 4 on sent or cobalt gear, how much gil you must've lost for an additional 180hp... soooo stupid. But if it works for you go with it, just sayin , kinda dumb.

769 DEF 376vit somthing like 300+mind no buffs or food, with full part sit just under 4k hp and 100 tonze hits me on avg for 2500-3k max , that is if i dont get stone skin, sentinal, rampart, agieous boon, or devine veil off. just protect up and food wich boost def to 900+

if you were in sarg i would be more then happy to let you look, havent cleared either but tanked both mistress and chimera, not all fail runs can be blaimed on the tank, our LS is just now starting to learn the dungeon strats we are not as active as other players soo we dont have time to spam events till we perfect them. but we pick up fast enough for a bunch of casual players.
