XIV won't accept any inputs

I always have at least 2 programs running: XIV, Firefox, Netflix, Discord, etc.. I closed everything and ran XIV by itself and didn't run into the issue. However, it was a brief test and as I don't know what is causing the issue, I can't trigger it manually. Tried re-downloading XIV, but the issue continues.

I had an issue where my keyboard was being recognized as a controller, and the game prioritized it over my actual controller. It would fix itself when I went into the settings and re-selected my XBox One Controller. I had to go under Device Management and disable the "controller" functionality of my keyboard.

This may or may not be the issue for you, but it's worth looking at.

Additionally, do you use Steam? Steams controller input can interfere if it's running in the background.
