not sure if the right place to post but its something to work on...
So...i got the neck speakers, and i even got the imerse pack, which apparently is compatible with, i did everything...and it still sounds shitty. my focusrite DAC combined with any of my headphones sounds better(i am a hi-fi enthusiast, i have a 2k euro system i normally use). was expecting something wow....i figured out i just wasted money.
Now if they did an option for split audio, where the music comes from the speakers, through the amplifier and focusrite DAC external system, and keep the talk/sound effects on the neck speaker, then yes it would be imersive. but at the moment that speaker sounds like s for music, its imersive for walking and such but sorry...its just weak AF.
why not give me the option Soken? to choose which audio output comes from which sound. if its not music it sounds ok on the neck speaker(i will accept a lower quality for suroung sound), but if its music it sounds horrible.
as i said, an option on where to route the music and where to route the rest is what i want, and its pretty easy to make from a programing standpoint. i really dont want to give a negative review to the ff14 neck speaker and that immerse sound, but it sounds like shit at the moment, not at all how you marketed it to be...so im hoping for this update.
PS: i am a lil drunk right now, did some tests on audio with the hardware i have, and this is the conclusion i arrived to, something even sober me always heard, but didnt have the guts to post it here.. so seriously, how can you put those neck speakers as the most amazing way to enjoy the game audio speaking...when they actually suck at bass, and if only that would be their only concern, its like listening to a 90s microphone recording for most of the time....pls give me split audio so i can imerse myself in people talking next to me, but listen to the music separately on a better system for that.
PPS: IRL i was a long time ago a sound engineer so yeah, i might be picky, but i like my sound to...well sound perfect, not metallic electric.
