They are indeed using it as a selling point and they shouldn't be, its bordering fraud imo.

Why not delete all character levels and gear every 45 days if you don't log in.. or go for broke and relinquish all paid for expansions, characters, gil, mounts and pets if you cant log in every 45 days or if you take a break like most humans do.

SE could do so many excellent changes if they wanted to. They absolutely have the talent to make some exceptional changes and improvements BUT they haven't and have made no effort to over the years, so its a very sad state for anyone wanting a home and forced to stay to keep it (smh)
So how many wards would we need to have for every single player to have a house? Lets not forget about player growth so a new house would need to be generated for every single new character on that server.

Also Housing is apart of the game, but did they ever promise you a house?

Also housing demo is needed. Have you ever read that book Wayside School? Where 1 elevator only went up and the other only went down. And it only worked once. Could you imagine, if players got to permanently keep a house when their is an extremely limited supply. Eventually ward 1-24 would be nothing but abandoned plots of players who may have long been quit years ago with no intention to return, and you have no way to purchase one until they added more wards, and even then once all the plots sell nobody is getting another house until new wards are added. Would you prefer that?

Id rather have to login periodically to make sure i keep my house, then some bozo feeling entitled to turning his house into a permanent fixture once they quit for good.
