I am a bit ashamed to admit, but I realized you could spin your character around in the environment in character creation with right-click just recently lol. That's your answer right there. Have you seen the dead-eyed horror that elezen suffer if you use too light a shade? (Of course not, nobody plays elezen). It not something you'll notice in the awful lighting in the character creator and probably not until you've gone through a few well lit cutscenes. Then you can't stop seeing it.
Thankfully I get two free fantasias per alt, the one for finishing ARR proper and another for the HW(?) CE so I can make those corrections without having to pay for something that should have been in the base game to begin with. I did change a few other things on that alt while I was exorcising her death gaze. Same with a miqo alt were I wasn't happy with the tail style.
I really do hope Square relents and adds the option to change eye color. I went a bit overboard with the heterochromia and inflicted the Allagan Eye on a few others. Nothing I can't live with but annoying that it'll cost a fantasia to adjust.
I had no idea before, it definitely made it a bit easier to check lighting changes.
Considering he can chage your eyebrows, and i don't mean just trim them or put some extesions on them or whatever, but actually chage the shape of the brow ridge, does the Aesthetician reshape them with a damn hammer then? "Lore", Pfft...
It helps a little but not enough. The only true way to make sure you got everything right is to spin up an alt and play through a few missions. Need to do that anyway to make sure you can tolerate the combat grunts.
My last fantasia was to change my eye color. And I'd do it again, too! Since now my outfit changed and my eye color doesn't match. But whatever.
Also, tying hairstyles and colors to armor sets would be amazing. Make it happen!
They could make it wear you could change your eye color with contacts.
Agreed. Eye color and skin color should be changeable at the aesthetician. Aside from colored contacts existing irl... My skin color changes based on the seasons, I don't know why we need magic potions for our characters to do the same. I could even go to a salon to get a spray tan to stave off some of the cancer risk from the summer sun (if I ever wanted to), why can't my character? I've spent more money than I care to admit just to match skin tone with different glamour aesthetics (pale goth, vampire, or Celtic knight vs summer fashion, sunshine hippie, or surfer bro.) It sucks to have to pay real money for something like that.
yes please, this would be nice but doubtful they will do it due to fantasia addicts.
Achievement Discord is a collecting community that welcomes anyone who wants to achieve in-game, including hardcore collectors, casual collectors, and anyone trying to collect something specific, such as mounts or minions. This is a place for collectors, to come together on All Data Centers. It's a way to share goals and work together as not every achievement is solo, so getting like-minded people in the Data Centers together can help do that. https://discord.gg/ffxiv-achievement
I've used fantasia before to change my eye color from dark grey to black. I wish I didn't have to, it's such a minimal change! And it would be nice to freely change your eye color to match your glamour or hair color!
