Well, I think he is referring to some of the fan art that people sometimes share around that show femhroths with a very similar bodytype to males. Male characters having a bodytype like that usually flys better; more people would prefer to play a male character of these proportions. This is a pretty respectively sized niche too, male hroths, if I remember, have pretty good numbers considering, and you could probably include male roes into this demographic as well.

Eh, tbh, I think most people have settled on one look they want for Fem!Hroths

And I'm sure it's this look, the one that @Kkron_m on twitter uses for all of their female hrothgar art. Since it's the perfect mix of Beastly and Femme without needing to go too far in either direction.

I don't deny that there are probably like three people who are super hyped for femhroth. Like reivaxe was saying, I think a lot of people do assume they will look like that, and that's why they don't have any interest, besides the fact of them being a furry race.

Quite a lot of people do want that, though. I have a friend who said he'd change to female Hrothgar in a heartbeat if his scholar could look as cool as that. Most Hrothgar players specifically don't want a Miqo'te rip-off. They'd just play Miqo'te if that were the case.

It's meant to be a furry race. The word they use is Bestial Race. If they want anything worse, they'd just call it Mystel and call it a day.

Imagine thinking that @kkron_m's designs don't have any interest. Their female Hrothgar drawings get thousands of likes and shared all over the place but yeah that's totally "like three people" being excited.

Those are closer to the body type that the males have, especially the second one. While I, like many, prefer @kkron_m's work I'd still play a female Hrothgar if this is what we get instead.
The whole point of Hrothgar is they're not humanistic. So why would they ever make the females look like Miqo'te 2.0 when a) we already have Miqo'te as an option and b) that'd go against what Yoshida himself said?

In truth, we had considered adding more beastly characters long before, and since this was possibly our last chance to do so, we decided that we should—much like we did with the Viera—in the interests of expanding the lore and the choices available to players.

Character creation is about providing players with options, and while there’s no telling how many people will utilize these options, we also believe that there is value simply in having them exist—in empowering people to fill the world with greater variety.

I will do so again by asking the same simple question....if this is exactly how they will look...then Why Are They Not In The Game?
Their look and appearance is already complete, the "Concept" has been shown many times. They would have had to make that art and that Mural Years ago as they were making Shadowbringers. So, FemHroths should be complete and in the game by now, if that Mural and Concept art are to be taken as Gospel.
The fact they aren't in the game by now, tells me that CANT be their final concept.
For Christ sake, they were made BEFORE Male Viera ever were!

If they were smart and actually give a crap...yes, they would design them the way the Community is saying they should look. Most of us, if not all of us advocating for these looks, want them, because we intend on playing them. It isn't just to make us feel good, its what we actually want to Play.
They will look like cool, tall, strong, and badass Hrothgar Females. This, is what everyone wants.

If they are giving human faces and look like Miqote 2.0, thats when you scuff them.

If you want my real, personal, opinion on femhroth. At this point, they are pretty much obligated to release them, but I wish they had never set the precedent with male viera. Neither male viera or female hrothgar should have come out until after they maybe could have fixed how they fit and add gear, hairstyles, etc. Really, at this point, I don't think female viera or male hrothgar should have come out at all. They should have just focused on the races we had. The game would be in a better state without any of the limited races in the game.

There are Millions of Players and you only think 3 are truly interested in Female Hrothgar?.....
So do the reddits, twitters, and the people on the FemHroth thread just not exist? Do the people on this thread just not exist?

I know our community is only about 1% or 2% or so of the population, but that still quite alot more then 3 people.

oh i am very inerested
i don't think anyone here is in the position to say there is no interest based on these (honestly amazing?) drawings
this type of female archetype are freaking amazing and sorely lacking in this game
i main males, so femhroths will be the only thing that could keep me fulltime as a female char
unintentional pun haha

not sure what it is about the female side of beast races
but when they're done right i usually main them

but i won't speak anymore on that topic to no derail this as op says
