Assuming you mean @kkron_m on Twitter? Cause if so then I definitely agree with your exquisite taste, I love those designs so much. Perfect balance of feminine and yet still animalistic. I doubt we'll get the tails like in their drawings but if the rest comes out similar than I'll be a very happy Hrothgal.

Personally hoping on the 1st we'll get an update on females, them fixing those embarrassing earless hairs, and converting new options for males (with ears of course) that people will actually use. I feel like this is the bare minimum they need to do for Hrothgar players at this point.

Ok but seriously. It paaaains me to say it, because I'm into that and I'd like to have a nice puffy chest myself (bc reasons -w-) but.... Reivaxe's right. Beefed up lion-faced men are appealing only to some people. But just because those people are a minority it shouldn't mean we should be ignored.

Again: they decided on making this. We support their endeavour and show we like it. So why all the fuss now? Why act like us liking what they made is such a bad thing?

Having a Niche is healthy.
Such as myself and many others...Im kinda bored with Human/Humanoid Races. I wanna play something...NOT human or Human looking. And we have NO options for such a thing...until now; enter the stupid OwO Furry/Anthropomorphic/Beast Race. Awesome, something for me, and other like me!
We are obviously going to be the Minority compared to the Catgirls/Miqote, the Au-ra, and the Viera.....Ok? Doesnt mean we should be ignored or treated like we dont exist.
And 1% among the Global playerbase (across ALL Datacenters) isnt a Horrifically small number. Its small, but its still a playerbase.

Strong Sexy women exist, they are not men with boobs or built like refrigerators. Women have more then 1 body type.
"Improved" FemRoe body would be more then perfect. If they used a "improved" version of the MaleRoes, I think they should follow suit.

Ah yes... My dream is for the next patch to roll out and hrothgar to have more hairstyle options with ears or the other racial hairstyles available for every face... Then they'll be no different than viera on that front. It's clear their intention is to have all hairstyles available for at least viera by the end of this expansion, adding a little more every patch. And the reason hroths have those particular new hairstyle choices is that they want to have parity between viera and hrothgar hairstyles (for example you could expect the next hairstyle options for hroth to include rainmaker and both ways even though it's more feminine). Let's just hope they have ears next time.

God I would KILL- kill and maim and slaughter and raze villages to the ground- to get Rainmaker in 6.2. I really hope we do I know they said "well you complained about what a trashfire 6.1 was so it's gonna take longer" but...it can't be that much of a challenge to just let ears clip.
On the same note yes its stupid that mgar have only gotten viera wigs but when fgar finally get rolled out and theres finally a decent female race in the game Id make one just to use Lightnings hair and the GOOD versions of the Neoishgard sets.
(tho if we ever get lv1 glam ungendered versions of neoishgard or the garo sets I won't bother lol)

Those are closer to the body type that the males have, especially the second one. While I, like many, prefer @kkron_m's work I'd still play a female Hrothgar if this is what we get instead.
The whole point of Hrothgar is they're not humanistic. So why would they ever make the females look like Miqo'te 2.0 when a) we already have Miqo'te as an option and b) that'd go against what Yoshida himself said?

Well, considering they sat on giving hrothgar literally anything for 2.5 years, we know we can't take him at his word sheesh god

I, being dejectedly cynical after 6.1 and Yoship giving us 7 different handwritten lodestone letters about a housing error but jack about hrothgar and our trash update, fully expect female hrothgar to be the blue miqote with a cat nose from the shb artbook. That was not a kemono face thats literally the default Keeper with a catnose mod

Please GOD prove me wrong in 6.2 Yoshi PLEASE

Here's the thing. We did get a reply from Yoshida, which was later parroted by a community representative. An answer which was as unsatisfactory as it was untrue. If not "untrue", then less so "false" but more "we have an idea of what the process is, and it really isn't hard, just complicated. If complicated, then please make up time and organize yourselves better. You clearly didn't do that."

I wish we'd gotten what Housing did. I wish Yoshida had gotten that motivated to write something about us as he did on BLM. Because Housing was an unfortunate disastrous situation that had a simple answer: they borked the code.

Nothing about this situation is simple.

I want them to address it in 6.2 as well. I want them to acknowledge their fans aren't idiots, that there was an uproar through the whole playerbase (not just Hrothgars)... but precedent says otherwise.

If they want feedback from us, then they have it: kkron_m and Soft__Bunbun have solid designs. A LOT of people voiced their support for this, particularly people who would play femgars (exceptions do exist, but they seem to be low in numbers). Those are the designs most consistently presented and approved by the playerbase. Even if it's hard, an approximation is acceptable.
And we want male Hrothgar to be taken seriously. For them to reconsider what they're doing, because if they decide on leaving these races for last on the fixing list, they're only going to create more and more things that they need to fix in the long run. That's dumb. We understand why, but just because we get it, it doesn't make it okay. It doesn't make it smart.

But I'm fully expecting Square to play dumb yet again, handwave it all away and just keep doing the same old bull.



...that said. I know the Bozja mural exists. It's NOT gospel, so please keep that in mind. We went over this in the hairstyles thread. It's a caricature. But even if it isn't, kkron's art does look like a realistic version of that mural art º3º but das' jus me.

This isn't to be discussed here in the first place... This is a Thread, as Previously stated for discussion of what can be added in 6.2, and what we hope to get in 6.2. Female hrothgar have a thread and it's Here if you wish to show your support. We should try to avoid derailing the subject too much, else we won't get any changes done.

Thank you for saying this... getting a little tired about discussion over things that aren't even the subject of this thread.
