Same but currently at diamond and i stand extremely firm on all previous points. Our margin for error is extremely low and if we do not play near perfect we will lose more often than most.

Good luck! You can do it. I've yet to see many reapers. I saw about 7, then a bunch of dancers and the rest have been your usual PLD, WHM, BLM, SMN, MCH and MNK a lot of monks all of a sudden. :^)
MNK is generally seen as the strongest melee. Tanky, shields can provide a surprising amount of teamplay (6k shields with 10 sec charge timers vs TBN being 8k on 15 sec... MNK shields are pretty good), and a guaranteed 36k damage hit that also stuns the target and breaks guard on a 60 sec charge is... kind of good? You should be seeing plenty of them. You tend to see SAM and DRG a lot in lower tiers, though, because they tend to be very effective at crushing people that don't know what they're doing. DRG is still effective at high skill, though limited in ways that other melee aren't. SAM... I dunno, you rarely see SAM in high skill unless they're just dedicated to the class. It can't really do anything that other classes aren't better at.

Mnk and drg and nin is pretty much the best melee at moment with instant burst damage and escape ability.MNK is generally seen as the strongest melee. Also at high rank samurai is hard to play during sam has no escape ability and shield require cast time + 2 target and chiten 25% reduce 5s is bare any use during how high damage output is from rest of dps. So sam can only join middle of fight instead dive in at begin or after burst damage from enemy team.

Make no mistake. I'm not you alliances. I'm here cause I just do what I felt is right thing to do.
How is Samurai not as tanky? Samurai is literally the tankiest melee job we have. You can bind someone to guarantee landing your skills on multiple targets for the chiten and shield spam rotations. Sam is still king of contesting crystal, probably only outdone by Paladins. Paladins is just bullshit tier at the moment. Too much sustain, cc and overall tankiness.Mnk and drg and nin is pretty much the best melee at moment with instant burst damage and escape ability.

If people at crystal rank don’t know how to handle sam than I’m not really sure, are they really a crystal rank skill player or just a player get lucky winstreak. Or smart enough get group bind with that lil 5y circle and not CC sam. If after gcd and ogi namikiri is cd instead gcd then would be op shield however ogi namikiri is need wait recasttime gcd then 1.3s casttime you have so much time to CC sam to avoid sam get shield. Since bind don’t stop player use stun/silence/pig during sam casting. It just like how easy to counter sam lb 1 hit ko.How is Samurai not as tanky? I have no idea how play Sam.
Whoever though a 'caster' melee would be good need be fired

SAM isn't the tankiest. That's probably MNK or RPR. MNK's tankines relies on Riddle of Earth and you can deny it with a properly timed stun or silence. But if MNK is given free reign, they edge out RPR slightly. But against good players, I'd say RPR is probably the tankiest melee. How is Samurai not as tanky? Consistent with what ive seen in diamond tbhMnk and drg and nin is pretty much the best melee at moment with instant burst damage and escape ability.
