figured id throw a few actual helpful links for FFXIV based on a few already said. and i felt the need since if googling this game, sites like this actually come up. making it hard to find useful information

Not sure any other sites have any action/combo information, levequest, quest or mission information. There are also player guides, pages describing things like Hamlet Defense and Inns. No they have not given up on FFXIV, if you look below, they are up to date with the Lodestone, Tera posting, is just them Promoting that side of the Zam Site, Nothing more.

Sam was always a great database/forum community, but with official forums being so well maintained, theres not much of a need for it anymore. Plus the community was super pessimistic early in ffxiv's life, making it impossible to have a constructive conversation on there.
