If using another internet helped then definitely using a VPN will fix your problems. I personally use one called noping but if you don't want waste much money some ppl uses one called mudfish that you only pay for what you use. There is also wtfast, pingzapper and exitlag if you want to check other services.
Most of them have a free trial period, so you could try to install one and see if it works for you before paying for it.
