    I thought with the removal of

    HQ items...The HQ crafting quests were also being removed. I just got to lvl 20 gsm on another toon and its still hq item

    HQ crafting is pretty easy especially at low levels. The removal of HQ gathering was to ease the load of inventory strain.

    Thanks. On my main I skipped all the crafting quests by doing GC turn ins. I'm going to do the quests on the alt, Have a nice night

    Just a friendly reminder that you don't need HQ mats at all unless you are crafting items that are beyond your crafter's level.

    Even before lvl 20 with really crappy gear, there are ways to make HQ items:

    Ideally, just level up a bunch before you do those class quests, and you'll find those items to be ridiculously easy to HQ.

    You might want to revisit them, since Manipulation is locked behind the level 65 quest for each crafter respectively. While its certainly possible to craft without Manipulation its a pretty useful skill all the same.

    Also of note... the level 63 and 65 crafter quests use untradeable materials. You have to HQ them yourself.
