Personal and fc homes need their own blacklist. And entry log to see who has entered. Furthermore when someone is thrown on said blacklist while in said home they get promptly ejected from the home.

To be a little blunt here about our (Aithne and I's) situation ...
It's hard to ignore the person in question when they literally follow someone in the FC throughout the ENTIRE house (from outside, to inside, and into a private room) and refuse to leave upon being asked to. We shouldn't have to lock our house from the outside world (my static meets up inside the FC house because they all like my decorating skills) because of one person.
Alun Way - Famfrit / Sina Kanshi - Famfrit / Joice Pei - Ultros
Discord : alunway#1267 - - DM at your own risk.
You can ignore them and go about your business, even with them there. My person followed me from zone to zone when I was doing MSQ and physically got in between myself and anotjer person to stare up at me while i was having conversations. If you give them attention, they stay longer. Ignore and they leave when they get bored or will get angry enough that they snap and get banned that way.To be a little blunt here about our (Aithne and I's) situation ...

Your static won't be upset to sit out in your yard and admire your exterior decorating skills for a while, if it means you have the person out of your home. The point is to do content, right?

Yeah, the friends list and blacklist features need an overhaul.
Where do you guys find these people lol, it's just so hard to believe there's people doing this for months nonstop. We have a player on our server that joins the Novice Network every single day, using macros to spam hundreds of lines of schizophrenic nonsense into chat, and then stalks and harasses anyone who kicks him. He also uses alts to evade NN kicks sometimes.
He's been doing this for months nonstop. He's been reported many times by many players, but never seems to receive any punishment or suspension, and continues to run a large FC unimpeded.
The GMs in this game are pretty useless. They're too busy banning people for fixing their awful UI, advertising RP venues, or saying the word "shit" into chat when they get knocked off a platform.
I can't help but to be very skeptical when I read what people are saying here.
One second people are stalking, harassing and spamming for months nonstop and not getting banned, the other second people are supposedly getting banned for saying '' shit ''.
If it sounds too ridiculous to be true it probably isn't or has been very severely overexaggerated.
While the person the OP describes is being a weirdo, I really don't think it's all that dramatic.
Especially from the pov if you're a GM and you deal with far worse stuff on a daily basis.
And it really seems like people do want the GM's to be very strict and have zero tolerance for quite mild negative behaviour while at the same time complaining that they're too strict and have zero tolerance for quite mild negative behaviour.
Just not the behaviour people personally take issue with.
I do think the GM's should talk to these people if it's actually legit, and if they continue they should be banned.
But at the same time we only get one side of the story and often times these stories are quite implausible.

Some excerpts of the kinds of things he spams daily. Sometimes he spams macros that are 10-15 paragraphs long before he can be kicked. A lot of his posts specifically revolve around defaming the reputations of people he perceives as his enemies, often by accusing them of being bots or Square Enix Employees.
People from my server discussing him on reddit.
Anyone who has spent time in the Novice Network on Goblin is intimately aware of this persons behavior, and just how constant it has been over the last few months.
If you kick him, he starts harassing you in DMs. He even harasses random people near the aetherytes he camps.
GM enforcement in this game is a joke; It's completely unpredictable and barely seems to get it right. I know people personally who have been banned over using untargeted profanity in party chat, and I also know someone who has gone unpunished after making death threats and being reported by multiple people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's kind of like the real world where the cops won't do much about stalking/harassments until someone dies.
I think the problem (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that there are differing mindsets when it comes to Easterners vs Westerners in regards to stalking/harassment and ending relationships.Okay that sucks(police are awful) but other MMOs have plenty of privacy settings to help with this. It doesn't guarantee that someone can't stalk or harass you, but it makes it very difficult for them to do so. That's literally the least Square could do. The bar is set incredibly low here.
Not that that's an excuse, mind you! Just a possible explanation.
I've actually heard that to. A lot of people have said that the Japanese are very lax when it comes to a lot of things and that worse case scenario they will simply ask you not to do something, rather than take action? That's the best way to describe what I've heard.
It's interesting but definitely not productive or helpful.
Expecting the GMs to deal with this is like expecting first line customer support to diagnose a backend technical issue. To actually moderate these scenarios of genuine harassment and stalking takes too long so GMs just respond to what’s there. I don’t really think there’s much more you can ask without seriously increasing the GM workload even if it seems like they’re doing nothing (Eureka bots amirite). Beyond that, I think there’s also the possibility that providing additional blacklisting tools also opens additional avenues for bullying/harassment to occur with said tools.
