anyone getting weird fps?

I have always running the game in borderless windowed mode I've had no issues until now

a week or so I been getting a weird issue where if I cap the game at 72 fps for streams it drops to 20 or lower i tried all the settings desktop high and normal and laptop

ps I'm just asking 'cause I feel like I'm going crazy

Does the issue occur if the graphics drivers are updated? Also does the FPS change when the game is run in borderless full screen?

Don't use the in-game fps limiter it does bonkers things to your fps. Use either Nvidia's built in or some other means. It does it for me too.

Maybe it's conflicting somewhere. I set my framerate to 1/2 in game (mainly to keep the fans quieter) and still runs over 100fps in quieter areas 80ish in algaia.

I say possible conflict because years ago I had an issue where if I set nvdia to cap my fps and did the same in the game it'd essentially double down for want of a better term.
