    I know a lot of people who would like to buy the figurines but can't, myself included.
    What is the reason for such a limited supply anyway?

    probably so its a "collectible"

    no need to be a "collectors item" if absolutely everyone who wants one can get one.

    A rare item? I would totally see that if people would mainly buy it for that specific reason.
    But it does not seem to be of importance to the many people I see complaining on various platforms and ingame. Some of them already have figurines and emotes. They do not care at all if it's rare and limited or not. They want it for the figurines and/or the emotes.
    Theres money to be made here. From a business point of view it would be pointless to make it scarce on purpose.
