None of this is an excuse.

They're reasons. But not excuses.

They're a reality of game development.

I often see people flip the hell out when it's revealed that game devs for a game have re-used the skeleton for a model too.
This is why most game devs won't take non-devs opinions and views seriously on this, if you think this is a problem and somehow a new thing or in any way says anything about the FFXIV devs then you clearly don't know a single thing and have absolutely no insight about game development.

The gear appearance imo I can kinda understand a little, but it's not much of it we're talking about a handful.

Sounds like you just like complaining for complainings sake. Show me an MMO that doesn't reuse models.

This person has like over 50 threads that are ALL negative and have only been posting since Dec last year.
That should tell you something lol.
