Twitch stream?

I am not new to FFXIV (Semi-new... I started mid ShB) and I was wondering if it was okay to promote my stream in-game? (I see DJ's promoting, figure I could to, but I thought I'd ask) I am new to streaming. a VTuber, and I am rerunning the MSQ (currently still in early ARR). I am just trying to build a fun community =)

not saying its what i would do but hey its an option

A lot of people advertise their streams and put it in their search info, change their name, put a message in a dungeon or make PFs for content they are clearing saying how they are a streamer. I don't take it seriously because their stream is probably not as big as they are pretending, otherwise they would have no need to advertise it.
