Can't return my gil after loosing a lottery

How did you solve it? I can't get mine back from this last round. I'm at the spot my timers windows says I should be and when I click the placard it just gives me the info for the person that moved in. No option for results or reclaim gil.

I have an alt that is in a friend's free company. He placed a bid on a medium in ward 18 of the ishgardian housing. He went to check on the plot today and it gave the winning lottery number, which wasn't his, and did not refund the gil. He went on reddit and saw that someone had the same thing happen.. but was told to get his refund from a completely different ward and that's what happened to him. "thats what is happening to m e, the house is literally in ward 18....shows it on the residential ward and its telling me to pick it up from ward 17" "literally ward 18 plot 32 is the one i bid on and i have to pick it up from ward 17.....im actually blown away" " yup and there is the refund.....on the house i didnt even bid on" "nah i already got the refund from the other placard that i didnt bid on lol and the house that it switched my bid to had like 30 people on there. ANd it was the exact same plot in one ward down. So im assuming the bug put a bunch of people on it and made it even harder to get. The on i initially bid on only had 8"

So there you have it. It looks to me that the housing is still glitching out and possibly in a very unfair way. Hes sent in a ticket but lord knows what will happen with that if anything. I do know that in the same ward as my own free company, there has been a house on the beach that apparently was purchased well before the patch and the subsequent housing glitch, that still has no walls or anything but showing purchased. It's been that way for over a month. Don't you have to have walls etc up in a certain time frame or it reverts back to being available ??

So how do you tell which ward you really have to go to? I tried a few around me but nothing worked.

Years from now people will have this exact problem and google it. They will inevitably find this page in hopes they will see the solution to their issue, only to find out that "Problem solved" is all they get to know.
