Relic quest bug

1. Started my second relic quest for my white mage. Started with Gerolt on the North Shroud. Followed the whole quest chain and got the relic weapon Thyrus.
2. No follow up quest received from Gerolt. But still shows other class options.
3. Tried to upgrade the weapon in the furnace. That worked. Received the Thyrus Zenith weapon. But still no follow up quest from Gerolt or follow up from Jalzahn. Can't progress the weapon any further. Also tried putting it in armoury chest or inventory. Next step is grinding fates in ARR. But cleared over 30 fates with the zenith weapon equipped and no single atma dropped.
4. Tried deleting the weapon hoping Gerolt resets the quest chain. Nothing happened.
5. Bought my Thyrus weapon back from the calamity salvager.

The next quest is Up in Arms from Gerolt, who sends you to Jalzahn. You are asked to obtain atma.

Make sure you equip the weapon first.

After speaking with Jalzahn, the quest completes and no longer appears but you still need to collect the atma. After you have collected the atma you can return to Jalzahn with the weapon unequipped.

It's common for people to be confused because the quest completes and the next step is done without a quest at all, but you should be able to farm fates right now.

Thanks. I thought this too. But after 30 fates I gave up... Guess what, fate 31 dropped an atma #facepalm. But yea, it is confusing the chain stops and you just have to follow it without quest markers.

On my first job when I did this part, I think I did about a total of 30 fates to get all 12 atmas. So after doing 30 and not receiving a single one I thought it wasn't working. Hopped to a different zone and got one on the first fate. While Bozja does give you a questline for your second relic hunt this was all confusing. I think SE already learned from this and implemented it. Tired of these noobs doing these non-bug reports haha.
