Anyone mention Battle Square yet?
It is an arena where the player fights in a gauntlet-style match against eight enemies in a row for points and prizes.

Aye, battle square is one of my favorite features apart from chocobo racing in the old Gold Saucer.. It was a sort of boss rush mode you performed solo. The further you went, the larger multiplier you would get on your reward bag, which you could exchange for very nice and/or unique-properties gear.

Would be awesome every championship (super bowl of blitz ball) they get some really highres models and throw together a cutscene of the real players like the FFX blitzball intro.

Its clear that my topic is just as relevant as it was the last time a rep hinted at it, which was when? Oh yeah, 9 months ago. Before this thread and before when people were distracted by the leadup to 1.0 finale.
