i am paying the same amount as someone with a large size house, but i dont have access to the joy of an outdoor space i can decorate.

And I am paying the same amount as the people with the rare hard-to-get mounts, but don't have access to the joy of showing off any rare hard-to-get mounts.

And I am paying the same amount as the people with the glamour drops from some of the harder dungeons, but don't have access to the joy of showing off those glamour drops.

Housing, like some mounts and glam in this game, is one of the things you earn in-game -- by hard work, by luck, or by a combination of both. Getting it isn't guaranteed by your subscription agreement, and never has been.
And that's the deal you agreed to when you signed up.
