I always find Bozja funny - the overall storyline was cut short, but that's for another topic - in regards to the implementation of hrothgar and viera. It doesn't really go too in depth on hrothgar lore, rather it's just a backdrop, but the fact that they used a female roe to represent the hrothgar queen. It would have been the perfect opportunity to reveal female hrothgar. They did male viera instead. Hilarious.

The fact that ''Misija Votyasch'' is a hrothgar name makes it hurt more.

I never really got the sense that Magnus is Ryne's '' father '' or caretaker.
Just moreso a nice dude that offered to help if needed.

Maybe I am misremembering it tho but I don't think anyone was specifically mentioned as having adopted her so to speak.
She's probably just kinda taken care of by the people in the Crystarium in general and gets whatever she needs.
Wouldn't surprise me if Lyna is the most involved, Ryne is a fighter too might even be serving with the guard and helping them out.

I started playing FFXIV when Shadowbringers was still fresh out of the oven. First I was a Lala, went Viera for awhile, and then finally decided on Hrothgar. Originally I had made a Hroth as an alt to replay ARR when it had it's rework, and in doing so I fell in love with the race. They're this great mix of goofy, adorable, and badass. Sure, the hat limitations bothered me a little (and the fact that the wearable headpieces hover instead of sit properly), but SE assured they were working on fixes and we just had to be patient. And so I waited only to be horrendously disappointed that all they could manage to make time for was deleting our ears and giving us the bare minimum.

I tried to cope for awhile with my new hair with one of the few head gears that emulate ears, but it got old really fast. Now I'm just mad. I love my Hroth and will continue to play as one regardless, but not everyone has my patience. Hrothgar (and Viera!) players deserve to have the same utility as everyone else, period. The main story of FFXIV has finished and while we're still on the path to the next expansion + getting everything else promised delivered for Endwalker (Island Sanctuary, for example), now is the time to right your wrongs and actually deliver the fixes we need and deserve.

Probably next expansion, there's really no point in releasing them when there's a graphical update coming.
Better to release them along with it so they and the game are both up to date with each other.

Better no rush. Maybe they will add Femhroth without all the limitations Viera and Hrothgar have now. Lol what about the Femroth could switch to existing hairstyles without using a fantasia. OMG. Oh and another dream, maybe the existing problems would be fixed simultaneously with introducing of female Hrothgar.

Not even Square themselves realistically care about clipping. Look at Endsinger. Its hair clips through itself the moment the instance starts, and it keeps looping like that throughout the whole fight.

It really does feel like an excuse at this point. Which is why Yoshida (and our community representative)'s words really sounded hollow. Clipping may be an issue, but it's a 3D game with complex animations and some detail. Clipping is bound to happen. And Square is aware of it, since even the Scions clip horribly and in ugly fashion mid-cutscene. Yet when fans specifically ask for stuff, they just say "no, because clipping".

Which is why I frankly would really love if Square at least read what little feedback fans can provide. Because this has already been addressed; some people don't like clipping, but the majority is okay with it if it means the feature is available to begin with.

Anyway my feedback is that if Yoship says "no expense will be spared" in Endwalker that should include giving hrothgar access to the same things everyone else gets. All the new hairs, all the new headpieces. No ifs ands or buts. No expense spared. Practice what you preach please.

And on that note, just some things I would love love LOVE to get?

The plait may be too girly ymmv but I know alot of players want longer options, a lot of players want braids, and a lot of hrothgar want more regal maney looks and I feel like GAP on a hrothgar would hit all three areas.

And, this will likely never happen, but boy do I pray someone, mayhap the people who got viera and hrothgar working glasses/visors/circlets will see this and be like "oh sure np np"
Hats.
All neoishgardian hats.
The calfskin riders cap.
The flat cap.
I feel like the neoish and calfskin hats are the most popular headpieces in the game, neoish in general is hugely popular in glam, and the calfskin rider cap is just a sweet baseball cap with a chocobo on it.
The flat cap is getting used more and more in npc designs and I frankly think its the cutest allclasslv1 hat in the game, I think it can go well with so many looks, and its really big so hrothgars hair and ears should be comfy under it it would just be darling and I'd kill to use it in more casual glams.

I want them to fix the part of the leg that goes missing when you crouch down (Namely to craft, or pet/hug someone smaller).
