Good points, i'm sure, but of course the biggest reason for female beast character unpopularity is the lack of jiggling mammaries (for charr anyway, don't remember if tauren had those).I can't speak to GW2, but as a former female Tauren (yes, I'm expecting people to have a mental breakdown at the WoW talk too lmao), part of the reason they're so off-putting is that they give off major dairy heifer / breeding sow vibes. The males look like bulls, which is great - it suits a hero, an adventurer. But the design of the females leans too heavily into farmyard tropes for female cattle, and makes them look like docile barnyard creatures. It was hard to find an adequate transmog to make my Druid look fierce - so much so that I mostly stayed in kitty form.
