The SHB relic was added in 5.25, not 5.35.
The step in 5.25 was just short is all, but the relics started at that point.

Yeah, the first step for Shadowbringers relics was basically them saying "We're sorry about the delay from Covid, here's some free weapons."

They are usually added in the .25 patch, so probably 6.25.

You might as well just get the savage weapon. With the new dungeons coming in 6.2 we will be lucky to see the relic start in 6.3
There haven't been any relics since Heavensward; just weapons associated with bad optional content.
Now, the Island Sanctuary patch release schedule matches up exactly with the Eureka/Bozja patch release schedule.
So while everyone else is expecting housing (and going to be disappointed), I am expecting relics (and going to be disappointed.)
Tbh I find that Heavensward and ARR has a far more repetitive and boring relic weapon process. There haven't been any relics since Heavensward; just weapons associated with bad optional content.

Content like Eureka and Bozja also ages better and makes for more longevity they both have quite active communities ( altho Bozja moreso for the exp I am guessing, the zones weren't as exciting as Eureka ).
I'd love a combination of Eureka zones with Bozja bosses.

In Heavensward, people were complaining that the grinds were repetitive and making us do old content, so they got a new content type without a purpose (Diadem) and a grind needing a content (Relic Weapons) and put them together to get Eureka. Then people complained they had to actually do content to get their weapon. I was disappointed to see that reaction.Tbh I find that Heavensward and ARR has a far more repetitive and boring relic weapon process.

In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Bozja had really good raids too imo, and the boss fights were actually quite good in the open world. In Heavensward, people were complaining that the grinds were repetitive and making us do old content, so they got a new content type without a purpose (Diadem) and a grind needing a content (Relic Weapons) and put them together to get Eureka. It's funny how people will complain that there's not enough content then complain when new content that actually takes some time and has longevity is released.
I really hope they put Eureka and Bozja together for EW, if people don't like it they already have other means to get weapons ( Savage and Extreme, or heck even just craft one... ).
No matter what they do with the Relic grind too it's going to not be enjoyed by some, the fact it's a grind altogether will upset some.

Keep in mind that most of the complaints were about Eureka specifically, not Bozja. The major complaint towards Eureka being that relic progress was entirely tied to Anemos/Pagos/Pyros/Hydatos, without any options to progress outside those zones. They improved upon this with Bozja, with most steps (if not all) having an alternative way of progression outside Bozja. For example, being able to farm the memories from FATEs in HW zones.Bozja had really good raids too imo, and the boss fights were actually quite good in the open world.

They wouldn't have to "put Eureka and Bozja together", because Bozja is already an improvement on Eureka in a bunch of ways.

"I'm bored of farming old content and reusing old content"
"make the endgame have a massive grind like WoW"
ok adding eureka
"no I don't want a massive grind, make me farm old content like labyrinth"
ok adding bozja with old content like labyrinth to farm
"I don't want want to farm labyrinth, I'm sick of getting labyrinth"
It's hopeless. They should just ignore it and keep giving us content like Eureka and Bozja. It's some of the most fun content in the game.
