Could just be perspective in that first shot, and her knees are bent. And Theyler seems a bit tall himself.

I think it just comes down to I had no idea just how short (i assume) minimum height female Elezen could be. That said, it's still weird to me that they look proportionate at that size, you'd think that wouldn't be the case given how the slider works (i.e. no finetuning, it just scales the whole model up or down)

Checking character stats plus the listed heights in character creation, Theyler is 175cm tall (50 on the height slider) and the shortest option for female Elezen is 183.5cm, so a difference of only 8.5cm (about 3.5 inches). Theyler does still look relatively too tall in that screenshot, but it could be affected by their poses, and Theyler's spiky hair isn't helping the comparison either.

I couldn't find the Lakeland Elezen NPC in the list of new NPCs from the patch (does she have a name?) but Ameliance is zero height.

The Elezen is just not targetable NPC sadly

Also I noticed the Elezen kinda hunched when talking, also she probably stand on downhill that makes the guy taller than her IMO
