I honestly would grab some popcorn and sit back. Yoshi P and co. have said from the gate, to not get our hopes up too high and that it likely wouldn't be what we thought it was.

It's not free company houses that cause the problem.

It's the limited supply of houses and an overlarge part of that supply being reserved solely for free companies when free companies trying to obtain houses don't exist in such large numbers. It's the lucrative workshop that can only be attached to free company houses when players are looking for ways to increase personal wealth or obtain items they want for less than going marketboard prices.

Only need one account to get a FC house, especially now that all 8 characters on an entry level subscription can be created on the same world.
