    I actually had a thought about the whole "class uniqueness" and the classes are "what make Final Fantasy" shtick.

    Funny how the most loved Final Fantasy(FFVII), does not have a class based structure at all. Neither does VIII, neither does X, XII or XIII. Sure, each character uses a type of weapon that MIGHT indicate what they do, but you're pretty much given free reign as to what abilities they actually have. I don't see people going nuts on those games for that specific reason.

    In fact, the armory system in its current incarnation is really just a further iteration on the concepts present in those FF entries.
