Some people want to defend it as "it's SE's design vision" lol

Well, it is their design vision....but still something that really should have been multiple pieces, especially at it's price. Being able to use bits and pieces is part of the allure of most of the shop items, rather than having just the one singular piece.

lol, people screamed that they wanted it for years, and so they game it, just like the omega outfits, and it isnt good enough.

as I said, before whining and tossing "lazy" around, should look at the original omega thread, I am sure it was better explained.

Because they took the lazy way out. It IS lazy. Period. That is why people had a problem with the Omega outfit, and why they have the same problem with this one. For the price and for how long people have had to wait, it should be multiple pieces. The lengths that some people will go to in order to defend SE is truly astounding.

Strange to see folks call it lazy simply because they don't like it. Lazy would imply they had to or should be making it multiple pieces. They designed it and can do what they want. Would it be nice to have it as seperate pieces? Sure. But I'm not about to be up in arms about it. I wear it as it is or I don't. Simple as that.

This was basically them making a equip able item from a custom character model which could easily have been a scenario where it was done by 1 person that saw people were asking for the outfit and was told they can work on it as long as it doesn't effect their other tasks.

I seem to recall a number of the Viera and Hrothgar headwear pieces came to be because of a similar scenario where devs took it upon themselves to make those items in their spare time because players wanted them.

And like I've been saying up and down in the other thread, if they don't want to put the work into it, then don't release it. Making it an undyable onesie is legit lazy.

edit: Because I missed it.. why do you find it acceptable that Viera and Hrothgar only get headgear because players requested it?! like don't you think this sounds ridiculous, it's a race that they implemented lol! Like legit can't you fathom how irritating it would be if they didn't make headgear for Mi'qote and they only hit you with, "Well fiiiine, I guess we can make some hats when we're not busy".

Listen I love buying outfits from the MogStation, if they're nice enough I'll get non-dyeable ones too. I've been waiting for this one in particular for years, I could come to terms with the non-dye part but this? I'd rather they didn't release it at all bc there's no way they'll separate the pieces now.

Apparently we're supposed to be happy with it bc they released it. This isn't a free outfit, they want money for this! We're giving feedback as to why we don't like or will buy it.

Care to show the files that prove it's in pieces as clothing on a custom model and not pieces of the model itself? Or was that claim of it being pieces they glued together into a 1 piece just something you threw out there to try and validate the other things you said previously in this thread?

As for the Viera/Hrothgar headgear. Expectations were set and explained when the races were added. If modifying the entire database of headgear to create entries for 2 new head shapes is such a simple and easy task then feel free to do it yourself. I find it laughable how all you do is fling mud at ppl based on your own assumptions which just makes you look childish.
