Vanity Slots?

This should not be "every other MMO". And if you didnt take notice - FFXIV doesnt look cartoony as almost every other MMO looks. Thank god.

I think the bigger problem here isn't the meta but the mechanic. They will eventually be adding PvP like they did in XI and having vanity slots presents the problem of faking other players out with noob gear when you're actually sporting full AF2 under that onion doublet. "But hey, we could have team uniforms or something!" Still doesn't make up for the obvious disparity some players would invariably exhibit. No, cool idea, terrible concept.

Lol when I came into this thread I didn't think it would be about actual gear>>;

But I would like vanity options to change the appearance of my gear say getting a emblem on my armor or a certain patch on my robe or something.
