Like Stepjam, I'm guessing you're referring to The Yedlihmad Hunt quest that was added to the game in 6.0 and part of one of the required quest chains that need to be completed to unlock the tribal dailies. It is not a newly added quest.
Yeah, I'm on the second rank of those quests and haven't come on one of these yet which would be weird because I've had each quest at least twice.

I feel like they're referring to the quest you mentioned which is a prerequisite (and was added in 6.0)
