I think you can already start the grind for the mount now through Crystalline Conflict since we're still in season 1 for it. Feast isn't coming back, got replaced with CC instead, so I think that's the way you can do the grind for it.

I can imagine a pirate Lalafell dancing to this, getting into a drunken fight with his Roegyden crewmate and punching him in the balls before wrapping the chain of an anchor around him and kicking em into the ocean. xD

The Gloria mount is the closest thing to that, albeit small.

There is also the Lunar Whale from FFIV on the Mogstation, although it's very expensive, and the Falcon which is a... much cutdown replica of FFVI's second airship, which was formerly offered as part of a special login promotion but is no longer available to my understanding sadly (it was offered recently as part of the Moogle tomestone event though so maybe SE will make it available again the same way soon).

Yeah CC, i keep forgetting about Feast not coming back since they still mention that mode in the achievements.
It is not a bad mount but definitely love to see a bigger version with that style
