Matoya's Relict - Heirloom Tunic of Casting

I'm hesitant to drop this in bug reports, since I guess it could just be absolutely heinously, struck-by-lightning levels of bad luck, but I have been farming Matoya's Relict for over a month now consistently (several times a week, for a couple hours each day), and I have gotten just about every drop there except the Heirloom Tunic of Casting. I haven't seen it, my friends haven't seen it (both in my runs and in their own runs) -- what gives?




Am I alone in this suffering? Have I just been abandoned to die tunicless by RNGsus?

I do wish that they'd make postgame dungeons from old expansion give gear at the end like lvling dungeons do. I get them wanting you to farm current dungeons, but I think they can ease the grind on outdated content.

Example. Haven't entered in Grand Cosmos in a while, but one of my alts for whom i wanted the Warg set of fending never got the hand slot piece. I saw it drop first timeafter EW release, but I was on different character. Still, just seeing it was joyful thing actually, at least I know it exists now.

Recantly wanted some pieces from ARR dungeons. Both farms took +4 hours. It sux to see some same effin MNK or whatever gearpiece for the same slot you try to get say BRD piece to drop like 5th time...

Thanks, folks. I don't mind a little content grind for glams, but more than a month of repeated attempts, weekly, in hours-long bursts is a bit much to not see it drop even once. Guess I'll go pay the porxie another visit...

I ran Paglth'an over 80 times for the casting top, and even then I had a caster co-dps that showed mercy and passed their good roll to let me have it. Then 1 run later as healer the healer one dropped.

RNG shows no mercy. It takes and gives.

Anyway, does the trust run not give you a guaranteed item that you don't have for Matoya's? Seems like running it on a caster would eventually give you it because it's the only thing you don't have. I'm not sure in what instance that is or is not a thing.

Nevermind, it's a leveling dungeon thing. That's a bit "silly" that it isn't a thing for previous level cap dungeons.

At least it's Matoya's Relict. It's one of my favorite dungeons, I can never get tired of that one.

TEEEECHNICALLY it's not 50/50, it's 1/however many other pieces of gear can drop from the chest that drops what you are looking for. Also what he said and what you said can both be true.
