It might not be to you but fun is subjective.
As someone that enjoys sexualized content I get this all the time that it's '' to get my rocks off '' and it's not really any deeper than that I just find it fun and/ or visually appealing like how people find anything else fun and visually appealing.
I really don't believe you'll find a lot of people who actually are doing that I think they can maybe just be quite loud but most people are just having fun.
I agree with you that the posts were probably just made for fun (I had just called it fluff!!) vs. expressing some true desire.

It also tends to have a very '' hetero-normative male '' bias so to speak, where guys and non-conventional women can run around half-naked and be just as sexual and even more but it's not viewed as such and can even be viewed and accepted as cool or funny. But if a conventionally attractive woman does something even slightly so it's SEX and it can apparently never be about anything else.
Totally tangential, but this just brought back an amusing conversation I had with a game-bud awhile back. So at some point previously I had told him that I needed to run as I had a playdate I had to go to. A month or so later, he had made some comment alluding to me having random hookups with people, and I was reaaally confused as I'm married, with a kid, and don't dabble on the side. Evidently he thought that when I mentioned my playdate, I was being coy about going to meet up with some guy vs. taking my son to a literal playdate. lol. I had thought everyone in my friend group knew my background, but guess not. ;p

But anyhoo, for me, it can get rather tiresome having mundane things turned sexual all the time. As far as the game is concerned, there have been several times when I've switched to a male character or lala specifically to avoid all the attention and weird /tells. For better or worse, past experiences have made me rather sensitive to that type of attention, and so I probably don't handle it the best. Like I'm all good with sexuality being on display and jokes about it, but when that attention is turned directly onto me, I start to panic. Not that I was taking the lewding of Ameliance personally. I think with her, it was more just the basic reaction of "oh it's female, she must be sexualized!".

To me it'd be like assuming someone who loves FPS games is a gun nut and that's why.
I feel like I'm being judged for being judgy. Fair enough But I would never call anyone out on their interests in person, or to their "face" in-game. I do generally run with the opinion of "you do you", as long as it's not affecting others negatively (I will have my silent opinions though). Howeeeever, if you put things out on a public forum, in the general section, a range of responses should be expected.

And now that I've probably killed off a fluff post, I'll concede that I was probably digging too deep into this, and will back away silently. :X
