    I found the types of content released this expansion just not engaging enough to play regularly anymore. The numbers don't surprise me.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    Your view is from the Outside -> In and does not allow for adjustments, or accountability, for things you do not know ( or should ).

    A population can not grow healthy, without first having periods of contraction. I left EQ1, EQ2, WoW, SC2, etc. due to "The Grind"; I am a casual player and appreciate all the ancillary features of a game (i.e. non-End Game content).

    yeah the game is dead. Hubs are ghost towns. Jobs are boring to play. No content whatsoever.

    Why would any sensible person with decent IQ keep paying subs for this dead game?
