Leveling is way to fast...

I voted that the leveling in FFXIV is too slow.

Here is why not everyone knows a bunch of people playing and can get exp groups, so the only choice for leveling is doing leves which is painfully dull and slow. Very few people use the search feature forming parties that way doesn't work out too well.

I realize that in a party people can get faster exp then solo but the game is set up in such a way that finding a party is rather difficult. I had exactly 2 exp parties when leveling my gladiator up to 50 it took exactly 1 year and 4 months to get level 50 on Gladiator, now that is not what I called fast.

I have soloed classes 1-50 and I've never found it so painfully slow. . . I don't devote a lot of my time to xp either><;

A lot of this was when they had SP and it was random and sometimes you would get bugged and not have any SP gain at all until you logged out and back in.

Right from The Producers letter. Only about a quarter of the population thinks that it fast. Those are the numbers. There is no sense bitching about it. Dont like it? you can always leave. no one is forcing you to play a game that leveling seems to fast for you.

I was around in those days and it still didn't take me that long to reach 50 :/

I like the XP rate I'm getting currently, but this is a major reason not to make it any slower. I subscribed earlier this week, & so far haven't met anybody anywhere near my level. The few bits of player text I've seen in game have been for a Lv 50 linkshell & some quest for Lv 50's.(with 1000+ players on at a given time)

This isn't just 1-50 in a month, it's 1-50 in MMO solitude. If they nerf XP in general us newer players are going to be segregated from the rest of the community even longer than we're now.

If it's just PL's & burn parties going too fast... I can't really comment there. I don't know how they work in FFXIV or how effective they're.

actually leveling is too fast b4 rested bonus. most people here have all jobs to 50 in did it in a very short time before rested bonus even existed. you must be new

Fact: People that don't like something are far more vocal about it than people that are happy with it. This is why you see big long complaint threads like this when there isn't really a problem perceived by the majority.
