Also I don't think you should judge the basic leveling speed via PLVL speed. People might be plvling but that isn't the normal partying/leveing exp rate.

Like I said to another poster, you can take your cop-out and shove it where the sun don't shine because not everyone that thinks the leveling is too fast has been PL'd.
So? I didn't say that, I was replying to the posters bringing up plvling as why leveling is so fast. I leveled my classes without the aid of plvl and thought the speed was just fine, clearly a majority of the players agreed. Also you might notice that I indeed read your post before posting myself, you don't have to repeat yourself. I just thought your post wasn't worth addressing.

So basically you were addressing mostly those like yourself, gotcha.
So you must be really into Justine Beviera also.I leveled my classes without the aid of plvl and thought the speed was just fine, clearly a majority of the players agreed.

Yeah, right.
Having just gone from lvl.1 - 50 in this past month, I feel that it's fine. People are going to find the easiest way to do everything regardless of where they set the curve, so there's no need to ruin things for those of us who'd rather get through it at a natural pace.
Okay taking that you know and played MMORPG quite a bit you really think going from 1-50 in a month is okay when their is only 8 jobs to level for DOW/DOM. That means in less then a year aprox. 8 months you have everything that allows you to do endgame done. You have completed the main part of the game in less then a year. Sorry but, if you think this is just right then this is sad. Also assuming that your server is like most server you talking about going from 1-50 in only a month with hardly anyway one playing and half the people that are playing are already capped out. So from all that 1 month is super fast and ridiculousness when it comes to an MMO.Having just gone from lvl.1 - 50 in this past month, I feel that it's fine. THAT is your opinion, when you run the office and run the show, maybe you tell them how SLOOOOOOW we should level our classes.
If your not having fun then you must be tearing out your hair (or bald)by now with this MMORPG. If you still play, you must have found much more content to dabble in, or just on here for the sake of discussion(i can respect that). This is by far the easiest mmo to level in.. What is fun about leveling a character 1-cap in one weeks time or less. It completely makes all game content useless until endgame or max level. I really hope leveling is changed in v2.0 Im not saying it has to be ffxi which that is what I want but at least make it a happy medium lol. If 60% of mmo players usually say that lvling is to slow and ffxiv only has 14% saying that I think there is something wrong with that picture considering other mmo's are successful and ffxiv isnt.

I think the leveling is fine in low-level soloing mode(even in party).
IMO, with the length of time it takes a casual(not a hard-core) to complete the main content and cap all his/her classes is probably when SE plans to update its content. Calculating on how many kids/young adults and grown-ass men/women(who eventually don't have complicated lives) tend to [play] complete the content in record time before new content.
Granted, a big BUDGET MMORPG should have big budget content which should be balance with a "time-sink". At first the game came out, it took a good amount of time to get from 1~20. Don't you think they have it all planed out already by the time 2.0 launches?
POINT: (new players in mind)If leveling was any slower(taking more of our time to gain a "level-up") the majority of the community will complain or just quit. That means, more content for lower level players will be needed to capture their interest. People in Linkshells will still deal with it but slow down because of less time on their hands to grind.
By the time 2.0 is out, there needs to be low lv.content, mid lv. content and high lv.content.
