Why should leveling be slower? It's tedious and boring.
If there was more content to do at lower levels, or if the process was more enjoyable, then I might agree.

Because when you level so fast that the gear you need is only important when you hit 40+ all the gear below that is useless. Therefore it hurts the economy and new crafter's. Everything in a mmo is tedious, so their shouldn't be anything different about leveling. Above with class stacking and etc. This would be happening if everyone didn't have 50 in everything. It bring more variety in the game. If players get to choose they are going to pick the easiest and fastest way which is fine but, don't just give them the levels in a hand basket so they have everything in 50. This game is 2 years old if that and half of the players have all dow/dom capped @ 50 their is something wrong with that.
I guess overall this is a Japanese game and that is why i play it they have the most hardcore games out of the gaming industry. I hope this game doesn't become Westernized with wanting intimidate gratification. I want the challenge i don't get anywhere else.

You make it sound like that's what you like about the game, and honestly that's kinda saddening. I thought video games were supposed to be about taking a break from tedium (school, work, etc).
And why does it have to be that way? Just because it's an MMO? There are other games coming out that are finding ways to make 'the grind' a lot more enjoyable.
I don't mind if it's enjoyable or not i am saying get past people selfishness and laziness to look at what best for the game to succeed. If you can tell me that when a new player joins and don't have anyone to level with that it will be okay and they will keep playing fine but, that is not true. Only way their gonna level is by being pl'd or waiting for days to level with the few that haven't leveled up yet. I would rather it be fun but, longer. I don't have to be tedious but, i would pick tedious over easy any day. I don't know about you but, i put alot of time in this game and this current community is not going to be able to save it we need more players. I don't want the time I have invested to go to waste....You make it sound like that's what you like about the game, and honestly that's kinda saddening. You make no sense. A new player having the option to catch up fast with end game players will stick with the game longer than quitting like 99% would after 1 month and being lvl 10. Because it takes so fucking long to lvl.I don't mind if it's enjoyable or not i am saying get past people selfishness and laziness to look at what best for the game to succeed. i make no sense well let me ask you this cause you are in the same boat i am. We both have all DOW/DOM 50 so are you gonna be leveling with the new player that joins? Unless you make a second account no, you're not so we have to hope to god that SE actually bring in alot of players in 2.0 instead of a few here and there because if not they are not gonna stay cause not everyone wants to solo to 50. If you don't understand what i am saying then sorry, i am not gonna waste my time.
The new inflow of players will cover that. Plus, I didn't need anyone to get to 50, and that was when lvl was fucking slow. No plvl. Now, it's even easier. What's to complain? A new player can lvl by himself or find ppl low lvl. Damn even my ls have tons of new players. New players are fine. And speaking from someone that played grinders from ncsoft. Either they leave it like that. Or we will get plagued by bots hitting the same mob. What do you want? Because that's what you get when you make a game fucking boring and hard to grind. I prefer the way it is now. You lose.i make no sense well let me ask you this cause you are in the same boat i am. 2 of the people in this post didn't power level i know for a fact it just to easy to level and hurting the game
Why not just make everyone start as lvl 50 ? but i have to agree with you that lvling in this game is boring and tedious.
This...if there were fun and exciting things to do levels 1-49 I would love to take my time and enjoy leveling. However, Leveling should not be THE game.
Also I think that the gameplay only becomes interesting when you get to 50. Before then I don't think we have enough abilities and combat feels too slow. In a way I think they should scale everything back about 15 levels, so all the 50's will be 35 (with the same amount of abilities and same content) and when 2.0 comes out release the content for 35-50.
