What are some things that you like about FFXIV?

Cat girls.

I like the cat girls, they're pretty and all... but I have yet to see them vomit only minutes after eating food and defecating on the carpet when I neglect their cat box. I am starting to question if they are truly cat-ish or not.

Playing with friends, visiting player houses and seeing their creativity with it, visiting venues, 2B bottoms....

The lack of restriction for doing "old" content with newly joined friends as they progress.

Near instant accessibility of most content I've missed during absences and transparency of current upgrades.

And of course the aesthetic and customization of my characters look.

Yes! Lost Ark was very disappointing for me in this regard. There is no level-scaling like in FFXIV's dungeons! So, if I'm level 50 and my friend is level 14, I technically can enter a dungeon with them, but what that means is I'm simply one-shotting every enemy while they basically just follow along behind, not experiencing the content or any boss mechanics or anything. Basically, I beat the dungeon for them while they do nothing. They're not having any fun, I'm not having any fun, and in no real sense of the word are we "playing together" at all.

We all remember the dark times of MSQ Roulette where a new player would have their story experience ruined by people speed-clearing and skipping mobs -- now, imagine that except everyone else is Level 90.

I play other games but after 10 years this game is kinda just my core game
