Like i said, that makes every Convention an World-Event. And as a matter of fact you wont see it in a lot of European Countries on TV btw. Just a couple "non-famous" Game-Channels on Pay-TV will show it.



You just put the 2 bigger Games-Con's lightly compared to E3.. so why not following your own advice first? I know tons of people, including me, which dont give a f*ck about E3 beside FFXIV News.

Well that is you and a few others maybe. But any FF fan and avid mmo player that has stuck by FFXIV, played since release, will say... FFXIV is be the most anticipated event showing at E3, at least for me it is. I don't even play consoles that much anymore, and FF is my favorite series, DMC and RE are great as well. But I'm hooked playing an FF mmo, that's true to its roots, live, with other players. And I hope 2.0 is gonna be the 'mmo beast' I think its gonna be.

There is no way Yoshi and the team can make FFXIV worse than it was, and its an ok, fun game to play now. 2.0 can on shine in my eyes.

Maybe the trailer will be attached to the new web site for everyone to see, followed by t.v./internet ad's. I also think there are spoilers attached too the trailer, and us seeing it now before 2.0 firsts patch would ruin it for us.

I want to see FFXIV there as well.. I was mere pointing out that the people that left for a long time How is Yoshi-P and Team going to get the players lost, to believe their game is great if they only show a little information. Yoshi-P has to Prove to the players that FFXIV is not a bad game anymore. We know its not a bad game anymore. They need actual Proof, if they go in there with little info.. then they are just going to say whatever and walk away from it.

That's why Yoshi-p said "Better we flood them with information then trickle". and they have the right idea. "flood them with information with 1 month till beta" it does build hype when people know close to its release date or beta.

And European and Asian..... While E3 is NA. That's the point people are trying to make, FFXIV is global, it's not surprising people expect to see a global presence. Simple. It doesn't have anything to do with which event is 'bigger', the team is not ready yet to launch their stuff. Period, end of the line.

that's my point there. sure the other shows are larger in their respected areas, but e3 is the biggest to the na players. it just so happens to be that e3 is the first show in the group. if tokyo-game show was now and e3 was after i'd have the same expectation that xiv had a major presence there.

it's not which is biggest to me, but which happens to come first. to reach the most people you needed to show them at each of this series of shows to get as big of response as possible.

People are trying to make it a fact that E3 is the "one and only" and beside E3 nothing else matters. It is not, period, end of the line.

Man i love how everyone thinks SE needs to tell them 3 months in advance every choice they make. They could care less right now if you guys quit over this or w/e cause if they don't get more players to play this game its gonna bomb anyway so it don't matter if you guys don't like this choice or not.

No one gives a shit about mmo's @ E3 its all about Nintendo Sony and Microsoft, all the press is gonna be over those three big companies all the little bitches in this thread whining makes me remember why i hates these forums.

Doesn't seem like you will have to remember all that hard, considering you have posted 1700 times. If you can't understand why people would be irritated at being told something is going to happen for over year only to then have it cancelled at the last minute, your dumber than this post makes you appear.

E3 has more notoriety then Gamescon. Yes gamescon may have more pple attending but you must remember that E3 is by invites only and is not intended for the general public. There is a good reason why hardware companies like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft chose E3 to announce next-gen platforms. I am not saying Gamescon is small or not important, but it doesn't have the same global media coverage and reputation E3 built over the years.

E3 is probably the most recognizable event in the gaming industry. Every single gamer out there has heard and is probably following E3. A lot of great games will be covered at E3 but that doesn't mean that people or the press will ignore 2.0 just because Resident Evil 6 is a bigger deal. Both games will get their attention and the mmo fans will look forward to more 2.0 news if what they see is interesting to them.

But sadly they probably won't see anything since they pulled the plug on the trailer and interviews do not appeal to the younger audience, who only care to see flashy videos.
